Pascal Tissieres

Pascal Joseph Tissieres is a Swiss civil engineer and geologist working in Martigny, Valais, Switzerland. Pascal J. Tissieres also the founder of Fondation Tissieres, which is a museum about stones; a member of the Rotary Club; president of the Vieux Martigny (lobbying group which works on Martigny's old houses preservation); former member of the SIA and of the SBG.

Pascal was born on the 4th March 1954 in Lausanne, Switzerland to Bernard and Suzanne Tissieres (born de Cocatrix). After spending his childhood in Martigny, he decided to attend high-school in the German speaking area of Valais

After finishing his Ph.d from the Federal Polytecnical School of Lausanne, in 1984 he opened his own civil engineering office in Martigny. Presently he is still running his business and employs 9 people.

Pascal has benn married to Chantal (born Morand) since 1978. They have had 3 children: Nathalie, Julien and Guillaume.
