The Party of Socialists and Democrats (Italian: Partito dei Socialisti e dei Democratici) is a political party in San Marino.
It was formed in 2005 by a merger of the San Marinese Socialist Party, led by Alberto Cecchetti and the Party of Democrats, led by Claudio Felici. On formation, it had 27 of 60 seats in the Grand and General Council, reduced to 20 in the San Marino parliamentary election, 2006.
The San Marinese Socialist Party governed as the junior partner in a coalition with the San Marinese Christian Democratic Party. The Party of Democrats had its origins in the Communist Party of San Marino.
Since the merger, a small grouping left to form Zona Franca, which later joined the United Left group, while another split to form the New Socialist Party.
The party won at the 2006 legislative elections of 4 June 2006 31.8 % and 20 out of 60 seats.
