Park Lane Interchange

Park Lane Interchange in Sunderland is the second-busiest bus station in the United Kingdom after Victoria Coach Station in London[citation needed]. It was opened in 1999.
A Tyne and Wear Metro station directly underneath opened in 2002 for quick travel within Sunderland and Newcastle.
