Park Farm

Park Farm is a small housing scheme in the upper area of Port Glasgow, Inverclyde, Scotland, which boasts small (but good) family run shops such as a convenience store in Bute Avenue called 'Pennywise Newsagents' run by David Morrison and family and Kellie's Shop in Arran Avenue. (The shop itself is beside Cumbrae Avenue and adjacent to Struthers Memorial Church.) The area also boasts another church called the Ambassador Hall in Oronsay Avenue.

Unfortunately there are not many facilities for children to play safely without adult supervision but thanks to the area you will always find an adventure somewhere or the other, for example, taking a walk, meeting other members of the community who share the same interests as you.

There is a very good community hall in Oronsay Avenue where you can hire for a party or wedding, etc. There is a hill beside Struthers Memorial Church which can take you to the bottom of Arran Avenue or alternately walk to Castle Hill. The council has deemed it unsafe but it is very safe indeed. In most places in Park Farm you can get a beautiful view of the River Clyde.

Port Glasgow is a wonderful town with secrets just waiting to be found and Park Farm is no different from the rest of the town. It is served by Woodhall railway station.
