[edit] Plot
Zim is told by Ms. Bitters to bring his parents to "Parent Teacher Night." Zim objects, telling her that he never agreed to that. She replied "Yes you did". Zim screamed "You Lie!!!". Miss Bitters then makes a TV behind the chalkboard show a video of Miss Bitters asking if his parents would come to parent-teacher night. He says "Yeah, sure, whatever". Worried, Zim tells Gir to expose the robot-parents to a parent training video; but, when Gir shows them television instead, havoc ensues that night. Zim manages to subdue them, however, and they fly away (of course, no one notices). Dib gets attacked when he throws punch out of frusturation.
[edit] Guest Stars (Voice Actors)
- The voices of the robo-parents (with respect to the image above) are done by Michael McDonald and Mo Collins, two comedians who were regulars on the sketch show MADtv.
[edit] Cultural References
- The brainwashing scene with the roboparents alludes to A Clockwork Orange.
- The kid that is in the good parents TV show resembles Timmy Turner.
[edit] Trivia
- Originally, Jhonen wanted the videos on screen during the Robo-Parents programing to be scenes of drug use and gun violence. However, Nick refused to allow them to use such scenes, and instead replaced them with stock footage from 1940s cartoons.
[edit] Quotes
- Robot arm: Welcome to life, Irken child. Report for duty.
Baby Zim: I love you, cold unfeeling robot arm!
- RoboMother: Is it?
RoboFather: Yup! DIARREA!
