Pardo is a term for a mixed-race Brazilian. In practice, the word refers primarily to Brazilians of black and white ancestry, except in the northern and parts of the northeastern region where other mixes are also covered by the term.

During the colonial period in Latin America, Pardos were people of mixed native and black decent.
