Parcent

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Parcent, population 1100, is a small village located in the Pop Valley of La Marina Alta, Alacant Province, region of Valencian Country, about one hour's drive north of the city of Alacant. It is characterized by the small but beautiful church surrounded by rolling hills and mountains. It is also close to Xaló, which is famous for its excellent wine production and markets. As for many areas in the Valencian region, many non valencian europeans have built retirement or second homes, enjoying the sunshine and proximity to the beaches.
