Paranda is a city and a municipal council in Osmanabad district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

As of 2001 India censusGRIndia, Paranda had a population of 16,987. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Paranda has an average literacy rate of 64%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 57%. In Paranda, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
