Paradise Lost (Penderecki)

Paradise Lost is an opera in two acts by Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki. Set to an English libretto by Christopher Fry, it is based on the epic poem of the same name by Milton. The first performance was held in 1978, at the Lyric Opera , Chicago.
The opera is set in heaven, hell, and on earth at the dawn of creation.
