Parè is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 40 km northwest of Milan and about 6 km west of Como, on the border with Switzerland. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,695 and an area of 2.2 km2.[1]
Parè borders the following municipalities: Cavallasca, Chiasso (Switzerland), Drezzo, Faloppio, Gironico, Olgiate Comasco.
