Paolo Negro

Paolo Negro (born 16 April 1972 in Arzignano, Vicenza) is an Italian football (soccer) player, in the role of Defender, who is currently playing for Serie A team A.C. Siena.

A youth player for Brescia until 1989, Negro joined Bologna the next year, and had his Serie A debut against Genoa 1893 on 28 October 1990. He played two season for Bologna, and then another one for Brescia, before to join S.S. Lazio of Rome, in which he played from 1993 to 2005. In 1994 he had his debut for the Italy national football team, in a match against Croatia.

Negro played eight times with the azzurri, and he was one of the members of Italy's national team for the 2000 European Football Championship.
