Paolo (Dune)

Paolo is a fictional character from the Dune universe created by Frank Herbert. He is a ghola of Paul Atreides. Paolo appears in Hunters of Dune.
Khrone, hoping to usurp his masters, conspired to create a Kwisatz Haderach. He ordered Uxtal to create a ghola from a damaged nullentropy tube found inside a dead Tleilaxu Master in Bandalong. Their first creation turned out to be a ghola of Vladimir Harkonnen, but after performing some research Khrone believed the Vladimir Harkonnen ghola would never be able to become a Kwisatz Haderach, so he ordered Uxtal to create a Paul Atreides ghola.
Uxtal's first attempt at growing a Paul ghola failed because the axlotl tank was not properly tended over the years and died. Uxtal finally succeeded in creating a Paul ghola, it was born thirteen years after the escape of the Ithaca from Chapterhouse, and was named Paolo. [1]
