[edit] Size

It differs from the European cave lion (Panthera leo spelaea) by its larger size and from the North American cave lion (Panthera leo atrox) by its smaller size and by skull proportions. Is that shure? Otherwise I think we should delete or change this sentence.--Altaileopard 17:45, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

This is sure! Source: Baryshnikov, G.F., Boeskorov, G., 2001. The Pleistocene cave lion, Panthera spelaea (Carnivora, Felidae) from Yakutia, Russia. Cranium 18, 7–24. O.K. thanks Peter, I hope you already recognized my edit. I am not shure if I was right, but it sounds better to me in this way.--Altaileopard 14:12, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
