Pantylus cordatus

Pantylus cordatus is an extinct lepospondyl amphibian from the Permian period. It was about 25 cm (10 in) long.

Pantylus was probably a largely terrestrial animal, judging from its well-built legs. It had a large skull and probably chased after invertebrate prey.
