Panguipulli

Panguipulli is a town and municipality in southern Chile. Administratively it belongs to the Valdivia Province in the Los Lagos Region.

The town is known for tis natural beauty at the Panguipulli Lake, and called "City of Roses" (spanish: Ciudad de las Rosas).

Most of Panguipullis tourism is concentrated in nature, and it is a good starting point for those who want to visit the hot water springs at Liquiñe, climb the Mocho-Choshuenco or travel to San Martín de los Andes in Argentina. The municipality owns a ferry for that last pourpose, that cross the Pirihueco lake twice a day. There is also a year-around open ski centre at the Huilo-Huilo natural reseve.
