Palwal is a town in Haryana, India, situated at a distance of 59 km from Delhi. The latitude of the town is 28° 40' N and longitude is 76° 59' E. The area of town is 22.10 km². PALWAL is a town of British India, in Gurgaon district, Punjab,now in district faridabad. It is a place of great antiquity, supposed to figure in the earliest Aryan traditions under the name of Apelava, part of the Pandava kingdom of Indraprastha. Its importance is mainly historical, but it is a centre for the cotton trade of the neighborhood, having a station on the Delhi-Agra branch of the Great Indian Peninsula railway.
