Pals
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pals is a walled medieval village in the heart of the Bay of Emporda on the Costa Brava. It lies on the C31 Palafrugell to L'Estartit road.
It forms one of a number of similar historic villages (Peratallada and Ullastret) that draw comparisons for the area with Tuscany.
More modern residential developments have been built closer to the beach. There are several championship golf courses nearby including Emporda, Platja de Pals and Pals.
