Palmetto Beach-Grant Park are two neighborhoods within the city limits of Tampa that's combined into one census district. As of the 2000 census, the district had a combined population of 9,723.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there are 9,723 people, 3080 housing units, and 2,862 households in the district. The racial makeup of the district is 44.7% White, 44.8% African American, 0.6% Native American, 0.4% Asian and Pacific Islander, 6.3% from other races, and 3.1% from two or more races. 23.4% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

In Palmetto Beach-Grant Park, the population is spread out with 6.5% under 5 years of age; 7.5% 5 to 9 years; 14.7% 10 to 19 years; 32.5% 20 to 39 years; 25.5% 40 to 59 years; 11.4% 60 to 79 years; 1.9% over 80 years. There is a 1.13 male/female ratio in the district.
