Palm Springs High School was built in 1938. The effort was led by city pioneer Nellie Coffman.[1]

Palm Springs High School is in the Desert Valley League which includes Cathedral City High School, Coachella Valley High School, Indio High School, La Quinta High School, Palm Desert High School and Palm Springs High School.
