Palm Beach Marg

The Palm Beach Marg is a 10 Km long 6 lane road that connects Vashi to Belapur running parallel to the Thane creek. The quality of the road, combined with the low density of vehicles has resulted in this road being a dream stretch for motorists coming from congested Mumbai.
The West of the road is mostly covered with Mangroves, except for a few buildings that that been approved by the CIDCO - most notably the NRI Complex, and a Training Center 'Chanakya'. A Delhi Public School has also been constructed recently.
The East of the road is witnessing the real estate boom in Navi Mumbai, with several buildings under construction (2005). Most offer an unrestricted view of the sea (Thane creek) and have excellent ventilation due to the strong sea breeze during the day time.
The stretch rivals the Marine Drive for peacefulness. Several health conscious people can be seen jogging or exercising by the road side early in the morning.
