Paliki (Παλική Palikē) is a peninsula of Kefalonia, one of the Ionian Islands of western Greece, at 38°18′39.72″N, 20°25′6.75″E. It is also the ancient name of Lixouri, the seat of the municipality.

The farmlands including several hills cover the southern and the eastern parts, the mountains to the central part, the west and the northern part.

The oldest document which contains the name "Lixouri" is sent in 1534 by local authorities to the Senate of Venice. Many houses were destroyed in the earthquakes on 23. January 23th 1867 and in August 1953.

Most tourist come to Lixouri during a holiday on Kefalonia to enjoy the beaches and the nightlife. But the town has also some notable sights.

  • Iakovatios Library, the communal library with a small museum. Typical classic Ionian building from 19th century.
  • Former primary school near the harbour. Avantgarde 20th century building from 1933, representing the modernist architecture movement in Greece

According to Robert Bittlestone's 2005 book Odysseus Unbound, Paliki was Homer's Ithaca, the home of Odysseus, the central figure in the Odyssey of Homer.
