The Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, often abbreviated as POPB or Bercy, is a sports Arena located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris.
The Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy opened in 1984. It was designed by a team of architects: Andrault-Parat, Prouvé, Guvan.
The POPB is the host of events for many sports: Basketball, Boxing, Gymnastic, Track cycling, Show jumping, ...
In the past the POPB hosted many events: European Gymnastic Championship in 2000, European Basketball Championship in 1999 amongst others.
Bercy is the home of regular annual events, including concerts by superstars such as Iron Maiden, R.E.M., Cher, Tina Turner, Britney Spears, Madonna and Guns N' Roses.
