Palaeopteryx ("ancient wing") is a genus of theropod dinosaur known only from the broken end of its radius (arm bone) found in Late Jurassic deposits in Colorado. Due to the extremely poor nature of its preservation, it is considered a nomen dubium. Due to the bird-like nature of the known remains, Palaeopteryx may have been a dromaeosaurid, related to Velociraptor, or possibly an archaeopterygid similar to Archaeopteryx.
