Pakistan-Bosnia sign Air Services

For an airline to fly to a country one needs an Air Services Agreement (ASA). On March 22nd, 2006 the aeronautical authorities of Pakistan and Bosnia and Herzegovina have finalized Air Services Agreement (ASA) on Wednesday, 22nd of March. 2006.

After two-day talks at the Ministry of Defence in Rawalpindi the officials signed a memorandum of understanding.
Deputy Director General, Ministry of Communications and transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina Delal Hasecic and Pakistan’s Additional Secretary Ministry of Defence Maj. Gen. (R) Muhammad Ashraf Chaudhry signed the MoU.

The Air Services Agreement would facilitate airlines of both sides to commence their operation to each other's territory. The agreement permits nominated airlines of the two sides to operate seven flights in a week.
Pakistan’s airline will start flights for Bosnian capital Sarajevo and another city of the country, while Bosnian airline will start flights for Karachi and Lahore/Islamabad.
