[edit] Split off "Kill Bill" material

I think the material on the Kill Bill incarnation of the character should be split off into its own article. Anybody agree? - furrykef (Talk at me) 21:11, 31 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Double-aught three

I always thought he meant 1883, making Pai Mei about 120 years old. This is slightly below the current world record. -Meneth 23:52, 5 March 2006

[edit] Pai Mei

In the special features of th KB2 DVD, Quentin talks about Pei mei being a classic Kung-Fu character ala the Shaw Brothers. I've found one movie so far in my search titled 'The Fist of the White Lotus". So, the Appearance of this character is yet another homage to the works of the shaws. Also Gordon Liu fought Pei Mei many times in appearances in these movies. 69.47.148.127 22:13, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pai Mei's description

I quote: "a ruthless, foul tempered and brutal individual with little compassion or respect for human life."

Do we seriously need three adjectives and five nouns to describe Pai Mei's character in KBVl.2? Call me a critic, but I think this sentence simply sounds grossly OTT. How about "an excessively strict man", or perhaps "a strict man who uses draconic measures to make a point"? In any case, saying that he lacks "respect for human life" is pure nonsense - the worst thing we see him do to anyone in the film is the plucking out of one eye. We see nobody die at his hands, correct?

He does say "I could kill you at my whim" when he has Uma in a shoulder lock.

[edit] Other uses

Pai Mei is also the name of a framework to support reverse engineering of Windows binaries (programs). The techniques involves using breakpoints to monitor program flow. The name is taken from the Kill Bill Pai Mei character.
