Paisiy Peak

Paisiy Peak (Vrah Paisiy \'vr&h pa-'i-siy\) rises to approximately 550m in the Delchev Ridge, Tangra Mountains, eastern Livingston Island, Antarcticasurmounting Sopot Ice Piedmont to the N and E.
The peak is named after St. Paisiy Hilendarski (St. Paisius of Chilendar, 1722-73), a famous figure of the Bulgarian national Renaissance, and author of the book ‘Slavonic-Bulgarian History: On the People, Bulgarian Czars and Saints, and All Bulgarian Deeds and Events’.

The peak is located at Elena Peak, 5.1 km WSW of Renier Point and 3.97 km E by S of Rila Point (Bulgarian mapping in 2005).
