Paint Your Target is the first single off the Fightstar album Grand Unification. Painting a target is a military expression which refers to identifying and marking a target so that it can be attacked by other forces.
Released in June 2005 Fightstar's first single charted at #9 in the UK and is their highest charting single to date. The follow up singles Grand Unification Part 1, Waste a Moment and Hazy Eyes could only reach #20, #29 and #47 respectively.
