Pailton

Pailton is a village and civil parish in Warwickshire, England. Its population in 2001 was recorded as 482. The village was originally known as Pailinton.

Pailton is located around seven miles north-west of Rugby and is part of the borough of Rugby, around five miles east of the village is the smaller town of Lutterworth. Pailton lies at a crossroads of three roads, one towards Rugby to the south, one toward Lutterworth to the east, and Nuneaton and Coventry toward the west.

Several old coaching inns survive in the village. And at the crossroads is the village green. Around one mile west of Pailton is a radio transmitting station.
