Pagan Hellfire
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pagan Hellfire is a one-man Black Metal project based out of Eastern Canada (Nova Scotia).
Starting in March 1995, Pagan Hellfire originally consisted of two core members, Incarnatus and Blackthorn. Blackthorn departed from the project at the time the third demo was released in early 1998 (see discography below). For the most part Pagan Hellfire self-released many of the demos and albums. However, the albums A Voice from Centuries Away and In Desolation, In Ruins were both self-released and issued through Intolerant Records (Quebec, Canada), while The Will of Night was released by Tour de Garde (Quebec, Canada). There was a short hiatus for Pagan Hellfire roughly between 2001 and 2004, but it did not represent a termination of the project. It was more or less a period of conscious inactivity. Although Pagan Hellfire’s lyrics are not usually printed in the albums, it has been stated they often deal with nature, Paganism, desolation, isolation, destruction and death.
