[edit] History
Founded in 1976, as the Micronesian Institute of Biblical Studies on the island of Tol in Chuuk, in 1991 the school changed its name to Pacific Islands Bible College, added a new site on Guam, and began to offer the Associate of Arts (AA) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees in Bible. In 1995 they established a campus in Mangilao. In 2004 the school received accreditation from TRACS. The accreditation opened up financial aid opportunities for students and established quality standards for the degrees. With this in place the school has steadily grown and now has over 200 students, most of whom are Micronesians.
