Pacific Academy is a Christian school in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada that spans from preschool to Grade 12. The school generally has 4 classes per grade, and has over 200 staff members as well as 1500 students. It was started by Jim Pattison, a billionaire who donated money to create Pacific Academy.

Pacific Academy has many different school buildings within its campus, each catering to different age groups. These include Primary School (grades K-2), the Intermediate School (grades 3-5), the Middle School (grades 6-8) and the High School (grades 9-12). In September 2006, Pacific Academy also began offering a Junior Kindergarten, which is housed in the Primary School building. In addition, the school's Chandos Pattison Auditorium provides an area for chapel and fellowship, and also hosts a variety of different events throughout the school year.

As stated on the school's main website:

"Pacific Academy is an independent (in partnership with Jim Pattison), co-ed, Christian school for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. The school is operated by the Pacific Pentecostal Education and Communication Society, an independent non-profit society. Founded in 1985 by a group of Christian pastors and laymen, the school opened in Coquitlam with an enrollment of 200 students. In January 1991, Pacific Academy moved to new facilities on 40 acres in Surrey. In September 2004, Pacific Academy High School became an International Baccalaureate World School.

Although not affiliated with any church or denomination, the school's Statement of Faith is distinctly evangelical and Pentecostal, seeking to allow for the movement of God's Holy Spirit in the daily life of the school and it's students.

The campus includes buildings for each of the four divisions, i.e. Primary, Intermediate, Middle and High School. In addition, the Creative Arts Building provides specialist areas for Art, Home Economics, Technology Education and Music and the newly-opened Media Centre provides exciting opportunities for media/communications. A 350-seat cafeteria is available for students' use. Playing fields and an all-weather athletic track support the school's sports program. A 1500-seat auditorium constructed in 1997 completes the facilities.

Pacific Academy Intermediate School is mentioned by name in the Vim online help as a way of helping children in Uganda via the Kibaale Children's Centre. The school allows folks living in the US or Canada to make tax-free donations to the center. Many thanks to Bram Moolenaar for his fine efforts in Kibaale and for inspiring software developers to create Charityware.

To help Kibaale Children's Centre, you can contact the Pacific Academy Intermediate School for more information on sponsoring a child or providing a monetary donation for any purpose.
