Pacal

Pacal or Pakal (meaning "Shield") was the name of two kings of the Maya state of Palenque:
- Pacal I (died 612)
- Pacal II "The Great" (603-683)
Pacal is also the Hungarian word for tripe, and is often used to refer to a form of the Hungarian dish pörkölt that is made with tripe.
