Pabradė (pronunciation (help·info)) is a city in Švenčionys district municipality. It is 38 km south-west of Švenčionys. River Žeimena flows though the city. Pabradė is a busy place as the Vilnius - Daugavpils railway is close to the city. It was quite a small settlement until the 19th century, which was when the Vilnius-Daugavpils railway was established.
