Phillip John Fleck (born on November 29, 1980 in Sugar Grove, Illinois) is a player in the NFL. He plays the wide receiver position. He played for the San Francisco 49ers from 2004 to 2006. He went to Northern Illinois University. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the 49ers in 2004. He spent the 2005 season on injured reserve after a shoulder injury. In 2006, he was released by the 49ers. Fleck was hired as an offensive graduate assistant by Ohio State University coach Jim Tressel. [1] Fleck played for Kaneland High School located in Maple Park, IL and helped the Knights win 1997 and 1998 state championship back to back. Fleck also ran track and played basketball.
