P'Unk~en~Ciel is the alter-ego of the Japanese Rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel.
The members of the band switch places. hyde takes over guitar, ken goes to drums, yukihiro plays bass, and tetsu does vocals. They sing their own songs remaking them into fun, simpler and faster tunes. hyde often dons a pirate patch over his left eye in P'Unk performances.
P'Unk~en~Ciel is the revision of D'Ark~en~Ciel. D'Ark existed during the era when Sakura was the band's drummer and the band members switched places to play songs. When the band came back with yuki as drummer, the new P'Unk~en~Ciel took its place.
P'Unk~en~Ciel can be seen on the SMILE Tour 2004 DVD [singing Milky Way], the Asia Live 2005 DVD [singing Round & Round] and also did a concert featuring Punk Aoki Live in Budokan.
