Ozaki Koyo

Ozaki Koyo (尾崎 紅葉 Ozaki Kōyō) (January 10, 1868 - October 30, 1903) is a Japanese author. He organized the first Japanese author's club named 'Kenyusha'. His renowned works are 'Konjiki Yasha' and 'Tajo Takon'. Mostly his works appeared on Yomiuri Shimbun, the most popular newspaper in Japan. He is the only son of Kokusai, a well-known netsuke carver of the Meiji Era.
