OHS Position Statement on Achievement
Oxford High School
Position Statement on Curriculum and Academic Achievement
~'It is the position of Oxford High School that its curriculum be based on standards and objectives that cultivate high student performance, foster critical thinking and problem solving skills, and inspire creativity. The development of high school assessments will be aligned with these standards and objectives.
We stand on the position that all students should be expected to perform at their highest capabilities. Stakeholders should measure success through high expectations of individual student achievement as it relates to individual student ability (e.g., individual student success is not measured through grade assignment only). Academic achievement should be a primary focus for every stakeholder within the Oxford City Schools district.
Oxford High School expects the best out of every student in its membership.~'
