Owen B. Pickett

Owen Bradford Pickett (born August 31, 1930) was a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from Virginia.
Pickett was born in Richmond, Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1952 and the University of Richmond School of Law in 1955. He was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates from 1972 until 1986. He was elected to Congress in 1986 and represented Virginia's 2nd congressional district from January 3, 1987 until January 3, 2001.
