Over the Hills and Far Away

Over the Hills and Far Away may refer to:
- An old song Over the Hills and Far Away, popular with the British Army. It dates from the time of Marlborough, whilst the words have changed gradually with the years. Often associated with the Napoleonic War years. Carlton Television adapted the tune as the signature theme for the Sharpe series. This was also the song of the 95th Regiment of Foot (the Rifles) formed during the Napoleonic wars.
- A song, Over the Hills and Far Away by the British rock group Led Zeppelin. It appeared on their fifth album, "Houses of the Holy".
- A song by the British band The Mission.
- A song by Gary Moore from his album "Wild Frontier" from 1987. Moore's version was then covered by Nightwish and Thyrfing. The fake file named the artist which is Sonata Arctica is Thyrfing's version.
- A Nightwish album, Over the Hills and Far Away, named after their Gary Moore cover.
- A collection of short stories by fantasy author Lord Dunsany, assembled and edited by Lin Carter for the Ballantine Adult Fantasy series, published in Apr. 1974.
