Over My Head is a rock song written by Anglo-American music group Fleetwood Mac. The song was written by keyboardist Christine McVie for the 1975 Fleetwood Mac album. McVie wrote the song in a small apartment in Malibu, California, after completing the Heroes Are Hard to Find Tour. It was composed on an old, upright piano. It is thought by some that she wrote the song about her marriage to John McVie. It was the first Fleetwood Mac song to hit the top 40 in the US, and it helped their 1975 album sell over five million copies.
