[edit] Further information
"Over" was written by Lindsay Lohan, Kara DioGuardi and John Shanks, and was produced by Shanks and DioGuardi. The song is of a pop genre; "Over" was less successful than her earlier single ("Rumors") in the United States (even though it charted five spots higher), but it did well in other countries, especially Ireland and Indonesia. The song describes the lead character feeling down about a boyfriend.
This was also her first single in the UK, so far it is the only single she has released there.[citation needed]
