Coast To Coast: Overtures and Beginnings was a December 1973 live effort by the British group The Faces, recorded with Tetsu Yamauchi on bass, replacing departed member Ronnie Lane, who had left soon after the release of Ooh La La, fed up at The Faces increasingly being presented as Rod Stewart's backing group.

The album presents only three tracks from the previous albums by The Faces, while presenting six from Stewart's solo releases. The two tracks that had seen the light of day on neither were covers of "I Wish It Would Rain", first made famous by The Temptations and "Jealous Guy", first made famous by John Lennon.

Long out of print in The United States, it is only currently available as an import from Japan. Many agree that the album could have been much better. The Faces would disband within a year and a half of the album's release.
