I'm a 22 year old college student currently studying veterinary technology at Baker College of Muskegon, Michigan. I've been a member of Wikipedia for a while now, and I certainly enjoy reading the many articles on the subjects that interest me the most. I have been a pro wrestling fan for a few years now, so I primarily tool with WWE and TNA-related pages, but I have been known to nitpick by correcting spelling and such whenever I come across such errors in other articles.
I have attended a few live wrestling events whenever they come into the area. I attended a live WWE SmackDown! taping back in October of 2002 when Brock Lesnar was feuding with the Big Show over the WWE Championship. I've also attended a house show in Kalamazoo, MI back in January of 2003. Recently, I was able to see TNA Bound For Glory 2006 in Plymouth, MI on October 22. I'm not as big a WWE fan as I once was, mainly because I'm frustrated with the direction that they've been going in. With the opportunities that I've been given to see TNA in action, my only reaction is that some day they will be the best company where you can see good, quality wrestling without all the gimmicks.
I should note that on November 16, 2006, I was featured in the TNA pre-show that was on SpikeTV.com before iMPACT!'s primetime debut as someone who was able to talk to the wrestlers and ask them questions. I'm the guy wearing the black skull cap and glasses, and you can see me during the Samoa Joe segment as well as the Kurt Angle segment. I should note that during the Samoa Joe segment, I was the second guy to ask him questions. I was not supposed to talk to Samoa Joe and was caught off-guard by the change, and that's why there's an extended silence before I ask my question. When I watched the video, I could see I was made to be some sort of idiot because my first question was the same one the guy before me had just asked.
During the initial taping, the segment was all messed up because if I was supposed to talk to Samoa Joe, I would have been able to ask two questions but instead only got to ask one. I figured someone would have cut that out, but it is apparent that I was wrong and not only am I angry with the way it turned out, but also embarassed by it.
