Talk:Out of This World (TV series)

I have a quibble with this trivia item:
- Troy never physically appeared on the show except in the final episode as a shimmering outline of light. Only his voice was heard for most of the series.
He appears in the theme song of every episode--though his face is never shown. Also, I distinctly remember an episode where Evie travels back in time and, because of some kind of mishap, is forced to arrange her parents' first meeting a la Back to the Future. There again we saw Troy as a faceless silhouette at the end of that episode. 24.239.167.213 08:58, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Theme Song
I have a question for The JPS. I do not mean to question your decision about the theme song. I certainly know very little about copyright law and things of that nature, so I'll defer to your wisdom. My question, though, is why use of the theme song to illustrate THIS article would not qualify as a fair use? Thanks for any information you have and keep up the great work.--Evadb 06:50, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hello. It's not 'illustrating' the article, though, really. And the article isn't even about the song. There are many detailed articles dedicated to songs, and even there we cannot use their lyrics. Sorry. The JPS 11:30, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. I was not aware that lyrics couldn't be used in song articles (not a subject that I've ever edited). It all makes sense. Thanks very much.--Evadb 12:58, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
