[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia!

Hello Ouro, welcome to Wikipedia!

Here are some tips:

If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.

If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, Alphax τεχ 01:25, 14 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Dike

Regarding your question: dike was an ancient greek (minor) goddess. from what i know it was never used as a name (although somebody, somewhere with really weird parents...). if you want info for the goddess dont hesitate to ask. --Greece666 01:55, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:Featured_article_candidates/History_of_Solidarity

The objections raised in the last nomination have been addressed (I hope). Since you have voted last time but may not be watching the relevant article's pages, I am spamming you with this notification that the article has been renominated and new discussion is ongoing at the above link.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk  04:28, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] barnstar

Would it be possible to take barnstar one and wide the red and purple just a bit so we can see more of the colours? I think the entire barnstar ought to be the flag colour, but the top and bottom colours don't really show enough. What do you think? Dev920 (Please vote here) 17:59, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Yes, that was what I meant. The shape of the barnstar is such that a flag just put on top looks a little off, don't you think? But the idea in principle is great, thankyou for your efforts. Dev920 (Please vote here) 18:06, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Yes, I think that is brilliant. The Yellow and green seem a bit washed out though - can you make them a bit brighter (sorry to be so demanding :)? Dev920 (Please vote here) 20:29, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
I think that is marvellous. Thankyou, and here's to it passing proposals! Dev920 (Please vote here) 20:51, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi, on the same topic could you make one that's similar to:
