Otta, Norway

Otta is a town in the municipality of Sel in the county of Oppland in Norway. It is the smallest city in Norway with about 4,500 inhabitants. Next to Otta lies the massive Rondane, which became the first national park in Norway in 1962, and which has several mountains over 2,000 metres.

In 1612, it was the site of the Battle of Kringen.
