OTN1

OTN1 is a Canadian category 2 Greek language cable television channel and is owned by Odyssey Television Network. It broadcasts programming from ANT1 as well as local Canadian content produced by Odyssey as well as other independent companies. It has a mixture of programming including movies, news, sports, music, entertainment and more.

OTN1 is one of 2 channels run by Odyssey Television Network, the other being ERT World Canada.

OTN1 was licensed as Odyssey on September 4, 1996 by the CRTC as a regional ethnic specialty channel for the province of Ontario. On June 6, 1997 before the channels launch, the CRTC amended its license to allow it to be distributed nationally. In December 1998 Odyssey Television was launched on Star Choice and Rogers Cable.

In November 2001, Odyssey II was launched with Odyssey and Odyssey II being abbreviated as OTN1 and OTN2 (now ERT World).
