Fred Otis Amey (born on December 4, 1981 in Union City, California) is a wide receiver in the NFL. He went to Sacramento State University. He is currently a free agent. He changed his name from Fred Amey to Otis Amey before the start of 2005 season. He signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent as a punt returner for the 49ers in the 2005-2006 season. While known for a remarkable 75-yeard punt return against the St. Louis Rams for a touchdown in his first game, his performance in subsequent games was lackluster. Amey was dropped by the 49ers shortly before the 2006-2007 season. His brother Vince Amey played at Arizona State University and was also a member of the Oakland Raiders for a few years.

Amey attended James Logan High School in Union City, California and lettered in football and track. As a senior, in football, he was an All-Mission Valley Athletic League selection and helped lead his team to the League championship.
