Otaki Aoyama

Otaki Aoyama (大滝) is a character in the anime/manga series Oh My Goddess!.

At the start of the series, he is the director of the Motor Club. He and Tamiya make life very hard for Keiichi by passing on a lot of work to him. However, they have a great deal of respect for Keiichi's abilities both as a mechanic and a driver. (Despite his wilder appearance, Otaki is generally calmer than Tamiya.) Both of them are also skilled mechanics. In the manga, they pass the directorship of the Motor Club to Keiichi. They were also both in love with the original director of the motor club, Chihiro Fujimi. However she rejected both of them for the sake of the club.

In the manga and TV series, he has a girlfriend named Yamano Satoko, who only appears briefly in the 1st and 3rd volumes of the manga and in the 5th episodes of Everybody has Wings. According to Keiichi, she is very attractive, quite good-natured and an engineering student good with software. Her father (who is the school director in the anime) is very aggressive towards all possible boyfriends. When Otaki puts out an oil-fire in her house thanks to some quick thinking (with some help from Belldandy who cast a spell so that the fire wouldn't really hurt anyone), he wins Satoko's father's favour.

Ootaki is voiced by Issei Futamata.

One of the characters named after a Japanese scale model making company (Tamiya, Fujimi, Aoshima, Hasegawa, Otaki).
