Ota Gyuichi

Ota Gyuichi (Ōta Gyūichi, 太田牛一, 1527-1613) was a retainer and noted author of the japanese clans of Toyotomi and Oda throughout the Sengoku Period of the 16th century to the Azuchi-Momoyama Period of the 17th century. Gyuichi primarily served very loyally under Oda Nobunaga, composing a well-known biography of the latter, the Shincho-ko ki.
